Chelmsford Chinese Language School
Chelmsford Chinese Language
School (CCLS) is a non-profit organization that offers Chinese language and
culture related classes. The classes are offered at Chelmsford High School each
Friday from 7:20pm - 10:00pm during school year. It is divided into three sessions.
The first two sessions are for Chinese language/culture classes and the last
session is for after school activities.
CCLS offers classes of different levels: pre-kindergarten, kindergarten,
grade 1-8, Advanced class, Chinese as Second Language class and ZhiYing classes.
CCLS also offers the
following after school classes during the 3rd session: drawing class
taught by area well-known art teacher Xiao Ning Niu, dance class taught by
former well-known actress Biyun Zhu, another dance class taught by our active
young sister dancer Jessica and Betsy Lee, chess class, music class, and sports
classes.
During the school sessions we
also have different parent activities organized by parents in addition to gym
sports activities. During this spring semester we have ballroom dancing class
taught by experienced dance teacher, Chinese traditional dance, and other free
activities like playing cards, chess, etc. CCLS is not only a place for our
kids to learn Chinese and its tradition, it’s also a place for parents to
entertain and meet friends. Last semester we have about 150 students enrolled
and we expect more in this fall.

CCLS and be well informed about school activities, we welcome everyone join
